Who we are

Work shapes much of our lives.

Not just what we do, but how we think, how we relate, and how we use our energy each day.

For most of my career, I’ve worked in Human Resources—supporting leaders, building systems, and helping organizations function more effectively. Over time, I began to notice something that wasn’t captured in processes, metrics, or strategy.

The success of the work often depended on something less visible.

The energy between people.

I saw it in conversations that moved things forward—and in ones that quietly stalled.

In teams that built momentum—and others that struggled despite having the right structure in place.

There was always something happening beneath the surface.

At the same time, my personal experience was leading me in a parallel direction.

After moving through cycles of burnout—and continuing to work through significant health challenges—I began to look more closely at how energy is managed, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and relationally.

This led me to deepen my study of yoga—not just as movement, but as a system of awareness.

What I found was not separate from work.

It was directly applicable to it.

This space is an exploration of that intersection.

Where work meets awareness.

Where energy becomes something we can recognize, understand, and gradually learn to direct.

The writing here is not about quick fixes or rigid frameworks.

It is about noticing.

Building a language for what we already feel.

Learning how we show up in the space between people.

And, over time, working with that more intentionally.

This is ongoing work.

And this is where I’m sharing it as it unfolds.
